Lesson Plans & Learning Targets

CodeMinds offers a library of pre-designed lesson plans that educators can use to suit their specific classroom needs. These plans serve as a blueprint for structuring coding classes effectively. Each lesson plan includes clearly defined learning objectives and outcomes. These objectives help educators align their teaching with specific coding skills and knowledge students should acquire

Grading

Each project includes a set grading rubric, built into teacher grade screens. Based on parameters set by the instructor, the system automatically calculates the total assignment grade. Students follow pre-work with a knowledge quiz to ensure lesson readiness. Each 5-question quiz is multiple choice and auto-graded.A notification icon in the main navigation alerts teachers to the assignments submitted, but not yet graded.

Classroom Management

Teachers can toggle between all classes, whether it’s grading, the project editor, or the roster. Teachers can easily run student submissions with one click, allowing them to see the output of the project without leaving the editor. Teachers have the ability to see grades for an entire class all at once. Teachers can also see a detailed grade breakdown by student and assignment type.

Assessing & Advanced Qs

Our curriculum includes a variety of assessing and advancing questions that empower teachers to gauge student progress and adjust instruction accordingly. This ensures that every student receives the support they need to succeed. Teachers need to help students overcome challenges by addressing common errors and their solutions. We equip educators with the knowledge and resources to guide students through coding pitfalls.

Progressive Curriculum

Our platform provides a progressive curriculum with a sequence of lessons that build on each other. This ensures that students progressively develop their coding skills from foundational to advanced. Code Minds lesson plans align with coding and educational standards, making it easy for educators to meet curriculum requirements and benchmarks
